About Treatment
During your first consultation which last about one hour, I shall with your help endeavour to get to the root of your problem by initially taking a detailed history of your health. I may suggest dietary and lifestyle modifications, and in some cases a physical examination may be called for and a urine sample may be required. Your pulse and blood pressure will be taken as a routine procedure. After the consultation your prescription will be prepared. You will usually be asked to return a few weeks later to check on your progress. In some cases phytotherapy may be inappropriate. If this is so, I will refer you to an alternative source of help.
Plant medicines can be used safely alongside most other conventional medicines and therapies. They are usually dispensed in convenient liquid form (tinctures), according to individual patient needs. Dry herbs such as teas, Creams and lotions may also be prescribed when required.
